SEEKING YOUR VOTE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Welcome to my personal website. I am a candidate in the 2026 IEEE Division X Director-Elect/Director election. Through this website I would like to give you further information about myself by sharing my bio and highlighting some of my key achievements, awards, research and impact in photonics and MEMS, professional history and professional activities.

IEEE has been my professional home for over 40 years. It has served me throughout my career, and helped me attain personal goals: growing my profile, expanding my networks, developing my skills and contributing to society.  I want to utilize my experience and connections to help future generations of engineers and technologists to achieve their full potential through IEEE. If elected as 2026 Division X Director-Elect, I will be in a strong position to help students and members attain their career objectives. I want to do this for all IEEE members, not restricting my efforts to colleagues affiliated to any particular Society or based in any particular region of the world. My position statement and vision outline my goals in greater detail. When you are considering the future leadership of the IEEE, I would encourage you to look beyond any particular Society or Region, and consider the impact of my goals on the whole community served by IEEE.  I hope to receive your vote to make a difference.
